The project encompasses an arrival experience, an experience center, a main area, and a remote explorers lounge. The images below show slides for the deluxe unit's schematic presentation pack and the rest of the buildings followed suit. Role and Responsibilities: As part of the design team, I played a pivotal role in bringing Studio STRAF's vision for Kaia to life. My responsibilities included: Team Management: Leading and delegating tasks to a team of three interior designers to ensure timely delivery of the schematic drawings packages. Design Development: Contributing to the development of the overall design aesthetic, including material choices, design specifications, and lighting and electrical layouts. Schematic Presentation: Developing and presenting schematic presentations to the client, effectively communicating the design vision and addressing any feedback or changes. Timeline Management: Overseeing the project timeline and ensuring that deliverables were met. Key Deliverables: Schematic Drawings: Developed comprehensive schematic drawings packages that included: Floor Plans: Detailed layouts of each accommodation unit, public space, and amenity. Specification Sheets: Setting up specification sheets based on schematic drawings. Design Aesthetic: Contributed to the development of a cohesive and visually appealing presentation design aesthetic that aligns with the project's overall vision. Client Communication: Effectively communicated design concepts and addressed client feedback throughout the project. Project Impact: My contributions to the Kaia project have been instrumental in shaping the design and ensuring its successful implementation. By effectively managing the design team, overseeing the project timeline, and contributing to the development of the overall design aesthetic, I have helped to create a unique and memorable lodge experience.
